This project is still in its embryonic state, but it is an attempt to share the power of awe and invite visitors to look for that power in their everyday. Click below for a taste of the project - I'm hoping to add more!

In the fall of 2023 I started this collaborative art project in my front yard. The idea was to gather our human hopes together in one spot so we could be reminded of that collective power. It was an honor to hold that space for so many people. Click below for a short video about the project. 

Each September I think up a project to celebrate the life of my son Oli. In 2024 that project consisted of 13 postcards, each featuring an animal he'd had some sort of encounter with. The postcards were shared with friends and family with the invitation to send them as a friendly hello to folks they love. Click below to download a PDF file of the cards. 

This project is part of my work with Center for Inspired Teaching, where I have worked since 2004. We began it in 2025 in response to growing polarization, and the focus has been transformative for my work. Click below for resources associated with the project. 

In the spring of 2019 I started making felt hearts with messages on them that I thought people ought to hear. With my children and the help of friends, we distributed more than 100 of these hearts in random spots all over the country. 

In the fall of 2025, I went to Portugal, where I fell in love with the tiles covering all the buildings. They spoke to me of how individual pieces can be so essential to the whole. This calendar (click to download) includes images to color that are each made of 4 individual tiles that come together to make a whole.
